These terms govern your use of shinies.io. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

shinies.io is an independent, non-commercial fan project for viewing and collecting Pokémon TCG cards. It is not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or The Pokémon Company.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age required by Discord in your country) to create an account. Accounts are created by connecting Discord. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person should not operate multiple accounts to abuse features.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access, edit, or interfere with another user's account, profile, or binders.
• Probe, scrape, overload, rate-limit-evade, or otherwise disrupt the site or its APIs.
• Upload unlawful content, or link to counterfeit, stolen, or otherwise illegal items.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.

4. Your content

You are responsible for the content you add (binders, listings, chosen username, and similar). You keep any rights you have in it. We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms or harm other users, at our discretion.

5. Listings and external links

Listing features let you link to your own eBay listings so others can find items you are selling. shinies.io only provides the link — we are not a party to any sale, we do not handle payments, hold funds, or ship goods, and we do not endorse or guarantee any listing. Any transaction takes place entirely on eBay and is subject to eBay's terms and buyer/seller protections. You are solely responsible for ensuring your listings are lawful and accurate. We may earn an affiliate commission on some outbound links.

6. Intellectual property

Pokémon, the Pokémon TCG, card names, and card images are the property of their respective owners. shinies.io claims no ownership over them and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the rights holders. The site's own code and branding remain ours.

7. No warranty

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Card data, prices, and market information may be incomplete or inaccurate and are for general reference only — not financial or investment advice. We do not guarantee the site will be available, error-free, or secure at all times.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, shinies.io is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from transactions you enter into with third parties such as eBay sellers or buyers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the account menu. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the site or its users at risk.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
